How We Fund

Building personal and responsive partnerships is very important to us, so we have adopted a flexible approach to funding. Ultimately, we want to work with the best organisations in this space. No matter the size of your income, the capacity of your team, or the length of your track record, our adapatable and agile funding process should work for all organisations.

  • Partners must closely align with the criteria in one of our seven themes, and with our underlying principles. There is no minimum or maximum income requirement.

  • We provide grants that are equivalent to 5% of our partner’s most recently reported income (with a minimum grant size of £10,000 and maximum grant size of £50,000).

  • Our grants range from 1 to 3 year commitments.

  • As well as providing funding, we are committed to supporting our partners in other ways, where we can. This includes business mentoring, sharing our network, and running webinars where our partners can come together to share ideas, challenges, and other insights.

  • For detailed information on how we discover partners, please visit the How To Be Discovered section of our website.

Undoubtedly, over time, we will build exciting and synergistic relationships with some of our partners. In these specific cases, and at the discretion of the trustees, The Helvellyn Foundation hopes to embark on longer term partnerships with higher levels of funding.
